Privacy
Dating information is sensitive, so Datevia collects as little as it can.
This page explains in plain language how the product handles your data. It is a description of how Datevia is built, not the legal policy.
How your data is handled
The minimum we need
An email address for your account, plus the profile content you choose to add: your photos, bio, prompt answers, and dating goal. Nothing is collected from your dating apps, because Datevia is not connected to them.
Photos stay in private storage
They are never public. The app reaches them through short-lived signed links, so a URL cannot be shared or guessed into working later.
The AI sees only what the task needs
A bio rewrite is sent your bio and your goal. It is not sent your email, your billing details, or your other photos. Photo analysis gets resized images rather than your originals.
Deletion removes the content
Delete a profile and its content and analyses go with it. Delete your account and your personal data and stored photos are removed.
What we never do
- We do not sell personal dating data.
- Your profile is never publicly displayed, and other users never see it.
- Your photos are never used as marketing material, including on this site.
- Nothing is posted to any dating app, because Datevia cannot sign in to one.
Deleting your account
Account deletion is a deliberate flow: a warning, a confirmation, and a re-authentication where that is required. The account is disabled first, then personal data and stored photos are removed. Running it twice is safe and does the same thing.
